Vasilis Biography:

Hi & Welcome To Our Web Site.

My Name is Vasilis Papandreou,

I was born in Thessaloniki Greece in 1963,where I have lived all my life.

My love for the animal's and mostly for dogs has always been big,since my childhood.

All of my family members where also big animal lovers.,and that have always helped me very much from my first steps until today..

My first dogs were mix breed of German Shepherd.

Not after long time,I realized that I wanted to do something more professional with dogs..

So I bought my first pure breed German Shepherd in 1994,how I lived with for 11 lovely years.

His name was Aris..

Aris was one of the first most trained dogs in Greece at the time.

Many times I did training presentations on

Dog Shows,to show how a trained dog is to people.

I started breeding of German Shepherd as partner with my friend and "CHOLOMON KENNEL" was founded in 1995.

In the end of 1996,in a Dog Show in Athens,I saw for the first time a Rottweiler that I was so impressed by,the Rottweiler was famous Multi Champion

FALKO VOM SITTARD.

Two Months later we bought our first female 2 years old Rottweiler:

Gr.Ch CUIDADO ANTIQUE ANGELIQUE "Angie",who in her very short life,she had never lost to another female.

Four months later we bought Multi Champion FALKO VOM SITTARD..

1997 we bought from USA a gorgeous black & Tan Dobermann male

TELSTAR'S REMINICENS "Alex",son of the most winning Dobermann in breed history in USA,BRUNSWING'S CRYPTONITE.

In the end of 1997 my partner did retire from breeding, and I made a new kennel name by myself and

HELLASTAR KENNEL was born in early 1998 (FCI 22/98).

HELLASTAR means the Star's of Greece (Hellas).

And like this started the story of HELLASTAR...

In 2005,did Christina come into my life,after many years as friends..

Without her help ,nothing would be like it is now,and I would like to thank her..

In 2006 our first Pug came into our life's and now we have Rottweilers & Pugs

Together we hope to breed excellent type & healthy Rottweilers-Pugs..

We have the same taste in types, goals and dreams about both breeds........

Christina Biography:

Hi,and Welcome to our Web site.

My Name is Christina Larsen Tronstad.

I was born in Gothenburg Sweden,where I have lived most of my life.

Already since I was a little child I have loved animal's of all kind.

When I was 2.5 years old our family bought 2 Cat's with Pedigree's,

Which my mother at one point showed at show's also.

In 1984 My Mother,Brother and I moved to South Africa

Where my father was working already for over a year.

My Father's friend and college, a man who was actually from Norway

Had 2 Dogs that I admired a Dobermann and a Bull Terrier.

After living in Pretoria only for 7 months we moved back to Sweden,not for long though..

Because we moved to Norway.

In age of 10,my father bought me my first dog.."Zita"

Zita was a black Labrador female..so nice character and such a funny female.

In 1991 we moved back to Sweden and a couple of years later my father and I moved to Greece..

I was 17 years old and I had loved Rottweiler for many years..

My Father refused to buy my a Rottweiler until he thought the time was right

And I would be responsible for it.

In late 1997 a male Rottweiler came into our life's..

I named him "Grego" and here start's my History and love for the breed.

Vasilis and I meet for the first time in 1998 as we both we're living in the same area

And walking our dogs in the same park.

Vasilis approached me one day willing to see my Rottweiler..and telling me

That he is a Rottweiler breeder!!!

Some years past as friends and finally we became a couple and

In January 2006 we got married...

HellaStar Kennel was Vasilis kennel and now It is our Kennel!!

We work together passionately for the best for the breed and our dogs..

And we have always had the same goals!!

Since 2006 we also had a second breed in our life's -Pugs!!

We are not breeder yet of Pugs but it wont be much time until we will become breeder of

this lovely breed also..

We have big hopes & Dreams for the futures for both breeds!!!
